The Loving Earth Project Wincanton

Celebrates some of the wonderful things threatened by environmental breakdown: people, places, wildlife and many other aspects of our natural world. The Quaker Arts Network set up the Loving Earth Project in 2019 to help people engage creatively and constructively with the climate emergency without being overwhelmed. It was also a way to share examples of positive change and how people have taken action for the things they love.

The result is an exhibition of textile panels made by people of all ages and interests, including professional artists and novices.  The panels have toured internationally and throughout the UK, as well as being on display at the Houses of Parliament.  Now this inspiring exhibition is in its final year of touring.  At each venue there are beautiful booklets and cards for sale, in addition to creative opportunities for visitors and activities for children.
