Wells Carnival

Wells City carnival team are doing it all over again this November, 2023!

Keeping the tradition and magic of Carnival alive, as West-Country clubs, organisations & individuals come together to put on an illuminated show.

Tens of thousands of spectators line the streets as the brightly decorated carnival floats, marching bands & musicans and dance acts navigate the medieval streets of Wells.

The Somerset Carnivals are the largest illuminated processions in the world and the Wells Carnival forms part of the Guy Fawkes circuit which runs over a period of 2 weeks each and every November.
