Plein Air Painting

If you have ever dreamed of living the life of a French impressionist painter, this is your chance.

Set on a New Cross hill the great lawn, you will overlook rural rolling hills and agricultural fields to the south.

Your morning will be spent learning the foundations of layering and building a landscape painting in oils. This will be followed by your first small effort at a landscape of your own.

After a leisurely lunch in the formal dining room you will make your way to a bigger sized project, with plenty of time to make another if you choose.

All materials included, but feel free to bring an easel if you have your own.

WHAT YOU GET Plein Air painting foundational education 2+ paintings of your own hand to take home. Tea and homemade biscuits throughout the day. Light lunch in the formal dining room  All materials needed.

** Please note that should the weather dictate, this workshop will take place inside as an oil still life workshop.
