Fancy getting your Christmas gifts sorted early this year? Then pop along to St Margaret’s Hospice’s Christmas Market!

Pick up some wonderful gifts and get into the Christmas spirit at the beautiful Tithe Barn at Haselbury Mill while you shop around 30 stalls selling everything from local crafts and Christmas decorations to handmade cards and gifts.

There will be seasonal entertainment and refreshments available on the day as well as free parking. The market will be open from 12pm to 4.30pm and a donation to St Margaret’s is welcome on entry. This year’s market is sponsored by Greenslade Taylor Hunt and St Margaret’s would like to thank them for supporting the event.

Last year St Margaret’s Hospice supported more than 5,000 people. This care is provided because of fundraising events like the Christmas Market, with supporters raising thousands of pounds to help provide care across Somerset. £500 could pay for 24 hours of In-patient care.

Kerry Baillie, Community Partnerships Manager, said: “We have made this year’s Christmas Market bigger and better, with hopes that it will be a great afternoon for all to enjoy whilst supporting local stall holders as well as your local hospice. There will be delicious refreshments, some amazing entertainment, great opportunities to get some gifts so please come down and get into the Christmas spirit!”

But the Christmas fun doesn’t stop there! The hospice is also hosting a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop where you can work with the team to create a stunning wreath to take home with you. Whether you are a wreath-making novice or a seasoned expert, you can create a wreath to display with pride.

Spaces are first come, first serve and cost £20 per person and the workshop will be held on Friday, 25 November in Haselbury Mill’s Tithe Barn at the same time as the Christmas Market. To book your place email fundraising@st-margaret-hospice.org.uk.
