Green Scythe Fair
The Green Scythe Fair is a small part of a global movement. They are seeking to raise awareness of these issues and explore positive solutions in various ways. These include appropriate technology, artistic expression, local distinctiveness, maintaining rural skills, organic food production, sustainable resources and environmental information exchange.
A day of traditional experiences including fabulous music from Fanny Hatstand and David Hall, great Kidz activities, a treasure-trove of green and alternative stalls, wonderful local and organic (where possible) food and drink, thought-provoking and sometimes hard-hitting information, discussion and debate, all centred around the amazing West Country Scythe Championships!
A weekend of pre booked workshops on Saturday and scything and Green Fair on Sunday.
