Family Fun Bike Ride Day

As part of Cycling UK’s BIKE WEEK 2022, enjoy a family day to celebrate the spirit of getting more people out riding together.

A day to bring out all the family bikes, unroll a blanket, put up a marquee, have a ride with the family and then settle in on our formal estate lawn with rolling views of the countryside for a relaxing day out enjoying food, drink and music by local artisans.

Entry is free.

We have lots of space for cyclists but LIMITED CAR PARKING spaces - book parking here (this ticket is for the car park, the more people the merrier in each vehicle)

This free family event is hosted by New Cross Farmhouse and Yeovil Cycling Club from 10-4pm. Guests can try a scenic 20 mile loop across the famous Somerset Levels past several national landmarks or a 5 mile kids fun ride. Both rides will be marked and safety managed by Yeovil Cycling club starting and ending at the glorious Georgian estate of New Cross Farmhouse.

As part of Cycling UK Bike Week 2022 we want to encourage as many people as possible to get out there and enjoy their community by bike. So this Bike Week lets really celebrate cycling, it’s our chance to all come together and tell the UK that cycling is a great answer to help ourselves, our community and our planet.
