Walk and Talk – Winter Gardening and Snowdrops

From 9.30am
As part of our Snowdrop Month, we will be joined by our Head Gardener and Amanda Hirst for a walk and talk inspired by the first signs of spring and snowdrops.
From 9.30am, join Head Gardener, James Cross, for a walk around the grounds as he gives a comprehensive talk about winter gardening.
At 10.30am there will be a break for tea and cake.
From 11am, Amanda Hirst – from the Shepton Snowdrops Festival – will give a talk on James Allen, known locally as The Snowdrop King and the first person to breed new varieties from wild snowdrops.
