Local and Community History Month: Ilchester’s First World War Heroes

Based on Graham Mottram’s book “The Men Who Marched Away”.

Graham will talk us through the stories of the sixteen men of Ilchester commemorated on the 1914-18 War Memorial in the village churchyard, and looks at some of the social and military factors which affected these men and their trench mates.
