A Journey into French Music

A journey into French music from Offenbach to Gainsbourg.

Fifi la Mer and Alex Garnett present a unique, brand new show that will take you on a journey through 100 years of French music, from Offenbach to Gainsbourg. The show features the dulcet tones of Fifi on accordion and voice, and the talents of Alex and tenor saxophone. Together they will transport you to “the city of lights"  with their repertoire of musical gems, and along the way you will get to enjoy tales of mystery, romance and heartache that we so often associate with Paris.

When not touring with this show Fifi leads the Oh La La! Quintet which played to a sell out audience at the Ilminster Arts Centre in January.

Alex amongst many other projects is part of The Ronnie Scott's All Stars touring the world with the Ronnie Scott show. He has many times been awarded the title of Jazz musician of the year on tenor saxophone at the British jazz awards.
