Society of Friends Museum Lecture Evening: Supermarine Jet Fighters 1946-195

The famous Spitfire manufacturer ushered in the Royal Navy's jet era by designing their first carrier jet the Attacker after the Second World War. This was followed by the RAF's Swift fighter and finally the near supersonic Scimitar.

Tickets are £6.00 and available at the door but advance booking is recommended.
