Beauty of Birds at Chard Reservoir LNR

Taking flight again this February half term is our Beauty of Birds event at Chard Reservoir LNR!

Soar into the school holidays by taking on our Bonkers Bird Trail whilst trying to seek out our Guide in the Hide, who will teach you to use binoculars to spot our feathery friends on the water.

Once you’ve flown your way through the trail, have a go at our Birdy Brainteasers to see if you can tell us which nest belongs to which bird, and see if you can build your own bird feeder with natural resources from the reservoir to take home with you!

£2.00 suggested donation towards the bird trail.

Emma – our brilliant RSPB representative – will be on hand to answer all your questions about bird conservation, and the Chard Volunteer Group will be offering refreshments, cash payment only.

Please meet us in the playzone area for the event, and use Oaklands Car Park (TA20 1HU) if you will be travelling by car.

All children are to be supervised by adults. Dogs are not permitted on the trail as this will be in the conservation area/bird hide. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
