Winter In The Wild

Just because winter might be a quieter time of the year, doesn't mean to say that there isn't something a bit wild about it! 

Can you find our guide in the hide who will talk about winter wildlife on the reservoir? What sounds will you hear along the way? And whilst your parents might have heard of 'The Generation Game', we want you to have a go at 'The Hibernation Game'! Will you be able to solve the questions we have in store?

Leading on from this, where would our animal friends live in the winter? Maybe you could tell us whilst you get involved in den building with our rangers!

Don't worry - we will have hot refreshments on offer with the Chard Volunteer Group for CASH donations (BACS details can be provided). And as always, we always welcome suggested donations for our events. With your ever appreciated support, we can continue provide a local event programme for families to enjoy throughout the year.

Please wrap up warm, and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. All children to be accompanied by adults. Dogs are not permitted in some areas of the event, and please put dogs on a lead in the event area for their own safety where they are permitted.
