Night time at Ninesprings
Join the rangers at Ninesprings to discover the animals that emerge after dusk at Ninesprings. Can you see a bat? Can you hear an owl? What animals can you smell? We will use all of our senses to look for wildlife and learn about the special senses that nocturnal animals have to help them live in a dark world.
We will start by telling stories and toasting marshmallows around a campfire before we go out on a short walk, as the sun starts to set, to see what nocturnal wildlife we can see.
This event is aimed at families with children aged 4-10 years old. Please bring a torch if you have one. This event is suitable for wheelchairs but please ensure the event organiser is aware before the event by emailing countryside@southsomerset.gov.uk.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this event.
We will meet at Ninesprings Cafe (BA20 1QZ). Book early to avoid disappointment.
Please note that this event is weather dependent and if it is raining heavily we will have to postpone & set a new date for the event. We will contact you in advance if this is the case.
