Bonkers about Birds
Join the rangers for a relaxed, fun and engaging outdoor session which combines arts and crafts activities with learning about the beautiful birdlife that's all around us.
- Start the day with a story, setting the bird-based theme for the activities to come.
- Birdfeed scavenger hunt - Collect woodland goodies that you can use to create you very own bird feeder.
- Build a birdfeeder out of the tasty treats you've picked up, you will even get to take this home with you!
Aimed at children aged 2-5 years old. All children must be accompanied by and adult (maximum of 2 adults per child). Accompanying adults free.
Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather and woodland terrain. Parents are advised to check for ticks afterwards. This session will involve handling seeds and peanuts, those with peanut allergies should make the rangers aware of this.
