Autumnfest

Leaves are changing colour on the trees, funky fungi is starting to show up in various places, and there is a slight chill to the air - autumn must be here! What better way to celebrate this wonderful season than by dropping down to Chard Reservoir and joining us for Autumnfest!  Have a go at our new and improved trail following on from last year - now with a goodie bag to take en route!  maybe 'hook-an-apple' to create your own bird feeder for your local wildlife to enjoy.  In addition, learn about different leaves whilst trying to choose the best one to make a sail for your autumnal ark that can be released down the stream!

Our volunteer team will be on hand to provide refreshments - perhaps there might be something seasonal on offer!  There will be a portaloo facility to use if needed.  The RSPB and Somerset Wildlife Trust will also be on hand for you to find out more information about the wildlife they look out for in the autumn.

No need to book just turn up in clothes you don't mind getting dirty or wet!

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost is £2 per child, adults free.
