A Taste of the Wild -cancelled

If you go down in the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise…

A fantastic wild feast of food from the land around Ham Hill awaits you. Don’t worry, we will pick it for you and all you have to do is eat it!

We’ll take a stroll to look at some of the plants that people have eaten here since the Iron Age and we’ll try some too if you are up for the challenge? Back at camp we may ask some of you to help with cooking our food which will include:

• Ham Hill Herb omelette                   
• Bread on a stick with wild jam    
• Crunchy toasted bugs (optional!)   
• Toasted marshmallows
• Wild fruit cordial

All children must be accompanied by an adult, accompanying adults are free (max 2 adults per child)

Aimed at children 5-10 years.
