Astronomy Evening at Ham Hill - April *FULLY BOOKED*

*FULLY BOOKED*

Have you ever found yourself gazing up at the night sky, pondering why stars appear to move or wondering what other mysteries are hiding in the depths of space.

Our evening is led  by experience astronomer and lecturer Adrian Dening, who will be delivering an informative talk on general astronomy. For those wishing to stay later, we will be running a late night observation session to view a selection of deep sky objects located thousands and in some instances, millions of light years away.

Warm clothing is recommended as we will be spending sometime outside.  Please note that the actual use of the telescope will be dependent on there being clear skies, but don't worry we have a 'plan b' if the weather isn't cooperating.

Cost £6.00 per adult, £3.00 per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Booking is essential, please email Countryside@somerset.gov.uk stating your name, a contact number and how many places you would like and we shall check availability and confirm your place.
