Bird Box Building at Ham Hill Country Park

We wish to build fifty bird boxes to keep our native birds at Ham Hill safe, warm, and dry whilst they look after their chicks, and we need your help.

We have all the necessary tools and equipment that you require. We will teach you how to use a saw and a machine that puts the screws in so you will learn new skills and many interesting facts about the birds that may use these boxes.

This is a free drop in event so there is no need to book but any donations to help with the cost of building these boxes is graciously accepted. Just wear old clothes, bring an adult, and join in.

Aimed at children 6-12 accompanied by an adult.
