Bug Bonanza at Chard Reservoir Local Nature Reserve

Join us once again for our Bug Bonanza this August – free family fun for everyone! Discover what creatures are buzzing around the reservoir or lurking in the stream with some bug-sweeping and pond-dipping activities hosted by the rangers. Come and have a go at making your own crafty creepy crawlies, learn about how you can make your own bug hotels at home, and maybe have your face painted to blend in with our beautiful bugs!

Meet us down in the meadows for a day of exploration and creativity and wash it all down with refreshments on offer from the Chard Volunteer Group (for cash donations).

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing. Dogs are to be put on leads in the event area for their own safety.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, aimed at ages 3-16
