Countryside Crafts at Chard Reservoir LNR

Have you ever made charcoal out of willow!? Have you ever learnt how to build a fire out of bracken?! No? Well, join us for our Countryside Crafts day where we will teach you just that, with the help of our ranger and volunteer team!

On top of that, you can have a go at toasting your own marshmallows! Then whilst eating the gooey marshmallowly goodness, use your very own homemade willow charcoal to create a piece of art! What’s not to love!

Come and learn a new craft over a hot drink and baked goods provided by the Chard Volunteer Group (CASH donations only). Look forward to seeing you there folks.

Please use Oaklands Car Park for parking (TA20 1HU) and meet us in the playzone for the event.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Dogs are to be kept on leads in the event area.

No need to book, just turn up.  Free to attend, but suggested donation of £2 towards future events.
