Join us and step back in time 170 million years for a Jurassic adventure! Rock up to Ham Hill and discover the amazing fossils that have been found here. Why not get creative and make your own beautiful ammonite from clay? Try casting your own seashell fossil using plaster of paris to remind you of your visit. Learn about some of our prehistoric plants that still grow at Ham Hill today, and create beautiful pictures to take home with you, just like the fossilised ferns that have been found in Somerset!

Aimed at children ages 4 - 9

£6.00 per child - all children must be accompanied by an adult, accompanying adult free (max 2 adults per child)

Booking essential - To book please  FULLY BOOKED email countryside@somerset.gov.uk with the number of places you require and a contact phone number.  We will check the availability and confirm your place. Payment needs to be made by cash on the day please.
