Make a Bird Feeder!

The first weekend in May marks International Dawn Chorus Day, when nature lovers across the globe will be setting their alarms early to appreciate nature’s greatest symphony. The birds have been getting louder all spring and this is the perfect time to enjoy the sweet sound of birdsong.

Come on up to Ham Hill on Saturday 4th May 2024 and learn more about our feathery friends – it’s sure to be a hoot! Hear about the birds that live here at Ham Hill and create your own birdfeeder to take home with you. What will you spot in your garden?

Aimed at families with children aged 4 – 10. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

No need to book, just turn up between 12pm and 3pm! Find us outside the Ham Hill Rangers’ Office. Free to attend, but suggested donation of £2 towards future events.
