Nature at Night at Chard Reservoir LNR

Have you ever wondered what creatures come out at night down here at the reservoir? Well now’s your chance to join us on a walk around the reserve in the evening to get an idea of what can be seen or heard when all the other animals are sleeping! Bats, badgers, owls – who knows what you might find!

We will listen to stories and toast marshmallows around a campfire before we head out on a short walk around the reservoir to see if we can find any of our nocturnal friends as the sun goes down.

This event is aimed at families with children aged 4- 10 years old, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a torch if you have one.  This event is suitable for wheelchairs.

Unfortunately dogs are not welcome to this event.

Please park and meet us in Oaklands car park (TA20 1HU) if you are travelling by vehicle as this will also be our meeting point. 

Please note that this event is weather dependent and if it is raining heavily we will have to postpone & set a new date for the event. We will contact you in advance if this is the case.
