Nature at Night at Chard Reservoir Local Nature Reserve

What’s that in the night sky?! Is it a bird?! Is it a plane?! It might well be a brilliant bat flying around your head! Join us on our Nature at Night event where we will go on an adventure looking for these amazing animals, where you will find out where bats live, what they eat and some other batty facts!

To fuel us on our adventure, we will toast marshmallows and enjoy a hot chocolate, whilst listening to more stories of bats, before we head out and use bat detectors! So what are you waiting for?! Book your place now to embark on our batty adventure!

This event is aimed at children and their families. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Torches are advised, all other equipment is provided. Dogs are not permitted on this event. This event is accessible for wheelchairs but if you have accessibility requirements, please contact us on countryside@somerset.gov.uk to discuss before booking.

Meet us in Oaklands Car Park (TA20 1HU) for the start of the event.

Cost £8.00 per adult, £6.00 per child, all children must be accompanied by an adult
