Somerset Science - Magic Moths

A cross-curricular day combining aspects of art and science to create a fun personal project. 

You will learn about paper types, different paint mediums and the blending of complimentary colours, followed by having the opportunity to practice some application techniques. Everyone will then create their own colourful moth design.

During the second half of the day, you will learn about the discoveries of Sir Isaac Newton and add science to your moth creation to demonstrate the forces of gravity.

But what is "magic" about your moth?  You will have to come along and find out on the day. 

Ages 7 - 11 years. Cost £20 per child
