The Beauty of Birds

What do you know about these creatures with feathers and wings? Do you know your robins from your herons?!

On The Beauty of Birds event, have a go at spotting the birds on our trail that will lead you to find your way to our guide in the hide. Hopefully, you learn something along the way about helping the birdy wildlife in your own back garden! Don’t forget to come and make your own natural bird feeders!

Join the rangers on your quest to find out more about our feathered friends and the bird life here at the reservoir, as well as in your local area. A representative from the RSPB will be on hand to provide more insight to our birds, and refreshments will be on offer from the Chard Volunteer Group (suggested donations will be welcomed).

Free event - suggested donation £2.00 which goes towards future events at the Reservoir.

Find us in the play zone area! All children are to be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing. If you wish to bring your own binoculars or guidebooks, this is encouraged! Please use Oaklands Car Park (TA20 1HU) if arriving by vehicle for the event.
