Fungi delights at Ham Hill
October is a very fruitful time of year if you head up to Ham Hill on a search for fungi. The best places to look are on dead tree stumps and fallen wood but do not forget to look in the grassland. So far, autumn has been very dry but with a little bit more rain, you are sure to find more than a dozen species on a short walk at Ham Hill.
