New Green Estates team vacancy

Somerset Council is delighted to announce the creation of a new 'Green Estates' team, following external funding from the Department of Culture Levelling Up programme. 

This new team will be working within the Climate and Natural Environment Service at Somerset Council. The focus of the team will be improving greenspaces in and around the Taunton and Bridgwater area for both wildlife and local residents.

We are now looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual for our new Green Estates Community Ranger post.

The postholder needs to have a good knowledge of the natural environment and previous experience in delivering public events and engaging people with the natural environment.
