Half Term Fun at our Country Parks
Half Term fun & Bonfire Night at Yeovil Country Park, Ham Hill & Chard Reservoir
There is plenty to keep everyone busy this half term across our Country Parks.
28th October 10am & 1pm: Autumn Fest at Chard Reservoir; Join the rangers to learn about this wonderful season through leaf printing and making pine cone feeders, and embark on a self-guided trail looking for those tell-tale signs of autumn. No need to book - check their facebook page for latest event updates.
29th October: Halloween Trail at Yeovil Country Park; Come along anytime between 11am and 2pm. £2 per child and under 2yrs are free.
A second route also available for pushchairs and little legs!
Start the trail outside Ninesprings Cafe and follow the pumpkin markers through the woods. Look for hidden letters along the way to complete the missing word. Tell the witch or wizard the missing word to win a small prize.

5th November: Ham Hill Bonfire Night; There will be a torch-lit procession leaving the Rangers Centre (TA14 6RW) at 5.30pm that will arrive at the bonfire for 5.45(ish) and the fire is lit in the stone circle at 6.00pm.
There will be hot dogs and warm, spiced apple juice on sale to keep you fuelled while you watch the fire burn down, and sparklers are welcome too.
